*This post is a contribution toward truly solving the problems of disharmony, hurtfulness and suffering present all over the world today, with respect for everyone’s current beliefs, ideas and actions.*
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
~ Albert Einstein
After the Creator set creation in motion, He absolutely ceased to have any control over it, although He continues to provide all life forms with the “breath of life” needed to animate inert matter. Most specially, the human being has the ability to exercise free will, to think and act as he wishes, to cooperate with nature or oppose it.
Nature has certain laws which govern its existence. Like gravity, life and death, evolution, etc. Another law is that Nature wants all the parts of herself to be as simple and subtle as Nature herself. So when a human being accumulates complexities and enshrouds himself in a self-made cocoon of habits and tendencies, Nature automatically works toward removing it. In this manner, a man endures the consequences of his thoughts and actions as a result of Nature working toward removing the personal man-made ego-cocoon.
Your body removes toxins by way of your being sick. Your body is working to make you healthy again. It doesn’t feel good, but it’s the only way for your body to fix something that went wrong- usually self-inflicted, I might add.
Looked at in this way, each human creates his or her own experiences. It is not true that there is a powerful God watching us, who judges us, then punishes or rewards us. This is why people have asked, “If God is Love, then why did He create a world full of disease, hate, murder, etc?” God created everything in one act of creation and now He only observes. Forevermore, human beings can create their own selves and the world as they wish, with some obvious exceptions like height, race, etc. No God can stop any human being from exercising his or her free will.
True Spirituality is our only hope. It helps human beings cooperate with Nature. Religion only gives us a vague idea that there is a creator, and introduces basic moral concepts to us. Beyond this, religion only serves to divide human beings from each other and create opportunities for egos to grow and problems to arise. We are all human beings having the same free will and abiding by the same laws of nature. We can automatically harmonize with each other if we recognize these truths and throw away the things which divide us from each other.
Each one of us has the opportunity to create our selves, transcend the ideas of a punishing God and ignore religious differences.
No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.
~ Albert Einstein
*Now, regardless of whether you agree with any of the above statements, this much is surely true:
Peace and harmony on earth can never flower by forcing it from the outside. Instead, each person must turn his or her focus inwards, clean out the hurtful habits, self-created negativity, and develop the awareness of his or her own true nature, deep in the core of the heart (which is way beyond religion). If enough human beings were sufficiently concerned about this type of personal growth, there would be harmony, respect, and love in the world WITHOUT EVEN TRYING!
All the best to you on your adventure of being a human being 🙂
