Consider our present state of existence. We are a society which has all the modern amenities, comfortable living, and we’re moving at a fast pace towards who knows where. But we don’t have personal time for ourselves. How many of us lead an inspiring life in which we look forward to every new morning?
I am reminded of Eckhart Tolle’s words:
“When you lose touch with inner stillness, you lose touch with yourself.
When you lose touch with yourself, you lose yourself in the world.
Your innermost sense, of who you are, is inseparable from stillness.
This is the “I AM” that is deeper than name and form.”
When was the last time you just gazed at the sky, saw the clouds move and felt it in your soul? When was the last time you took a quiet walk, wondered at the tall trees and small beetles. When was the last time you listened to music and felt utter Stillness inside yourself? When was the last time you were not bothered by a thought or your response to it, but just observed and let it go ……..
Each of us used to experience all the above when we were children; we were filled with joy. Life was magical every moment. We were excited about the uncertainty. Rather we were looking for surprises – all the time filled with inner joy. Somehow we lost that gift, as if a spell was cast on us.
Can each of us break that spell for ourselves?
This is how it starts – higher awareness leads us to the desire to live life differently, more fully. And maybe you also want to include all your loved ones and share this. Man can never be happy by himself – he finds fulfillment in serving others. Chris and I have attended many retreats in the U.S. and India, and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. We won’t be able to take all of you to India (not this year anyway!) but we can do something locally that is available to everyone. Our search began… I think when you start with the right purpose and for the right reasons, things just fall into place. We were lead to LifeBridge Sanctuary.
You know – even before we enjoyed a tour of the LifeBridge Sanctuary, there were two words that captivated me – LIFE and SANCTUARY. Life to me is movement, constant evolution. Sanctuary is a sacred place to feel the stillness of the soul. I felt deeply connected. And what a place it is to help break the spell.
We visited LifeBridge Sanctuary and yes, it is a serene place overlooking the Catskill Mountains, away from all the noises of everyday life. What a wonderful facility they have created for the spiritual benefit of mankind.
Here we are, wonderful Spiritual beings – May 2nd, 3rd and 4th we can gather together for a weekend retreat to restore that joy and reconnect with our individual spiritual essence, …before it’s too late…
For this retreat we can only have a maximum of 12 participants. Please RSVP ………………
Feel free to contact us with any questions or clarifications.
We are filled with gratitude and humbled by the opportunity to collaborate with each and every one of you in this way – sharing the experience of a life-changing weekend retreat with our fellow Pause Your Life spiritual beings.
Have a wonderful day, stay mindful and Pause ……….
